OUR BACKGROUND
We are a community-based organization that believes in and values the most transformative ideas from the community in order to solve the most pressing health issues in our community, which includes the forcibly displaced, refugee, and host communities. Community ActionAid Education was founded in 2020 and is based in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, specifically in Kakuma 3, Zone 1, Block 12 near Nasiri Bunda primary school. We provide a higher level of care in the pursuit of health and happiness for all.
OBJECTIVES
The Objectives for Community ActionAid Education-community based organization are:
- To empower, inspire positive health education and health care services to our communities in Kakuma refugee camp, and partially to the host communities.
- To Equip and prepare our community with good and sustainable health education and health care services for better future changes.
- To create awareness to our community on the importance of maintaining good health, hygiene and sanitization for community well-being.
- To improve health status of individuals, families and refugee communities through quality health education, trainings and workshops.

Vision
To have society where youth are adequately equipped with necessary health education, health care services, and reduce health risk associate in the community, to empower and prioritize health education to needy refugee youth and host communities to contribute lasting changes in their lives.
